Hey guys! Speaking of hiatus...
For anyone out there who thinks Coven is dead, think again. I just renewed ye olde domain name the other day. I suffer from a broken heart (damn you Valve!!!!), too much going on at work, winter suck, and a lack of sleep, but my love for Coven has diminished none!
Hopefully I can get at least a working "something" here so we could get a server back up and running or get the community back up and running.
Come on spring!!!
Izzy... you still have access to those free UK servers?

You might think that you are not dead. You may say that you are not dead but as long as there is no _playable_ version of Coven out there, you are effectively DEAD. Muerto. After about 1 year you have not even produced a news article to the Moddb explaining what is happening. But don't worry I have not lost all hope... I am truly optimistic that Return to Church will be released soon enough. www.moddb.com/mods/return-to-churchPs. don't bother porting the Coven game mode to the Source SDK 2007 version. No one ever played that mode in the servers... ever... |

Looks like an interesting mod. On a separate note, I very much dislike you, and I hope I never see you in a server, lest I would rage and cry at your boorishness. Devs, I await the advent of the newly renovated Coven patiently and with optimism. -Joker |

On a related note- I do apologize for the mysterious nature of our demise, however if you hadn't known (coulda sworn I posted it somewhere) Valve's update to orangebox totally KILLED Coven. All of it. As in *NONE* code workage. I have been piecing it back together (slowly I'll admit... jobs are suck). I think I have a playable "demo" after a good 12 hour marathon today. As I've said it is a demo... not a full-working-Coven-as-you-knew-it, but enough of it to be both playable and Coven. Want to tidy a bit more of the artwork this week and purchase a server and all that jazz. We plan to do a limited release to people on the boards and the friends to Coven once the server is online. No Moddb as of yet... I want it to be at least caught up to the old version before public mayhem.
