Can I create config files for particular maps, to be executed on map load as exceptions to the default server.cfg cvar values?
e.g. I want most maps do sv_gametype 0, but I'd like my server to know that switching to cvn_deadship or cvn_coast means sv_gametype 2
Thanks!

Interesting. I think I might have done that. I will double check. Right now it obviously defaults to sv_gametype 1 if there is no config file. I will include a sv_failmode variable so you can change the mode it loads on failure. I will also put in a config file option so that you can override it on a per-map basis in case in the future for whatever reason you wanted to NOT run sv_gametype 2 on all the maps

The per map cfg is what I really want, because the sv_gametype variable is only one that I would want to mess with. For Team DM maps I'd do the whole bit sv_alltalk 1 mp_forcecamera 0 sv_gametype 0
but all those vars would be different with the objective maps. So yeah, a more general way to manipulate variables per-map would be best.

Ahhhh. Gotcha. Yeah that's a little different, however doable. Makes sense you might want overrides for those. I like it.

The way I've seen it work in other games is simply to have .cfg files in Coven\maps\ with the same name as the .bsp
e.g. Coven\maps\cvn_outskirts.cfg would be searched upon map load, and if it exists, it gets executed after server.cfg. If it doesn't exist, only server.cfg gets executed and everything's cool.
