Hi! This mod crashes me everytime on startup. Saying "hl2.exe stopped responding... " etc. Happens just after intro and cant even see main menu. Specs: Q6600 8800GT 512mb 4GB RAM Win7 64-bit Tried look dump file, but it looks like this wont give me one.  |

I believe wimchimp has the same problem, try to talk to him, and find out if there's something similar, and you just might find out what's causing it.

Btw, check if you've got hl2dm installed, and your location is set to english.

Yeah it sounds like 64-bit windows with 32-bit mods causes some sort of problem.
Anyone using 64-bit windows that isn't having a problem running Coven?

I used to have 64-bit, Coven worked perfectly, but that was 2.0 and 2.5

Have you installed over coven 2.5?
Try deleting your old coven and reinstalling

I installed 2.5 once, but deleted it (had same crashing problem). I also tried reinstalling now this 3.0, but still doesn't seems to work.

A HAAA I THINK I FIXED IT, I updated my sdk for 2009 (I donth think that fixed it) added -novid and -autoconfig to launch options and it fixed the binaries after 10 minutes of a black screen....... weird...........o and I also made hl2 1/2 and hl2 dm vista service pack 2 compatibility admin allowed... not sure which fixed it.. |

Ok... It looks like two of my ' friends' got the same problem. Intro seems to run fine, but after that it crashes. |

Wow.. It made crash dump file in HL2DM directory. Watched at the wrong folder all the time.  Well here it is. For some reason it didnt show intro this time, like it often does. I really really hope theese files helps. Attachments:
